The title is a pun that has a lot to do with Canaletes and at the same time with our restaurant. Canaletes is a place for celebrations, for sharing joys and passion. And at Caneletes the passion comes from the grill, which is the central axis of our gastronomic proposal that focuses on seasonal produce with reformulated dishes from the traditional recipe book. And with the "caliu de la brasa" we celebrate and share from breakfast to lunch or dinner, including tapas and ending with a sweet.
We rescued a little piece of the history of La Rambla and as the Canaletes kiosk did in the nineteenth century, we also recovered the art of serving a good beer. Because for beer to be good, you have to know how to pour it. And for those who dare or know how, drink it in a "porrón".
CANALETES CERVESERIA. The grilled cuisine is in the tradition, in the popular heritage. At Canaletes we have proposed, through this ancestral technique, to cook products of proximity, to give a new approach to the traditional recipe book to offer a totally different proposal in a cozy space.

We have an uninterrupted kitchen from 07:30am to 10:45pm where you can enjoy what we call a "knife and fork breakfast" to start the day with energy. At noon or night you can enjoy some hot or cold tapas like a Russian Potato salad, garlic prawns or spicy chicken wings; if you are one of those who like to sit and enjoy a good meal and good table talk you can enjoy our grilled dishes both garden products or meat and fish, our ribs at low temperature or lacquered eggplant with soy and honey. Without forgetting the desserts, because there is no better way to finish than with a good sweet.
"L'esmorzar de forquilla" or fork breakfasts are hearty meals, good meals that require the use of cutlery, which are taken from early in the day until mid-morning and can leave us without hunger at lunchtime. In order not to lose the tradition we offer a breakfast based on stewed dishes, grilled meat and a good wine to enjoy with friends or family.
